June 2017 : I've just returned from the 12th annual Bang on a Can Summer Festival in North Adams, Massachusetts where I had the privilege of working closely with some of the most exciting comtemporary composers and musicians for three weeks.

The three-week festival takes place at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams. In addition to the composition fellows, thirty-three musicians from twelve countries are also participating. The composition faculty consists of Michael Gordon (honored by Guggenheim Foundation, NEA, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, American Academy of Arts and Letters), David Lang (Pulitzer Prize, Grammy, Yale faculty) and Julia Wolfe (MacArthur Fellow, Pulitzer Prize, NYU faculty).
